A Queensland snake catcher has shown the horrific moment he was bitten on the face by a hostile scrub python.
Gold Coast and Brisbane Snake Catchers broadcast the scary moment live on their Facebook page on Wednesday morning.
The video shows snake catcher Tony wrangling a two-year-old female scrub python out of it's enclosure for cleaning.
Scrub pythons are one of Australia's largest species of snakes which are often found in North Queensland and known to be very aggressive.
